Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez aka Daddy Yankee is a  Rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor from Puerto Rico. He is well known for Reggaeton genre music. Daddy Yankee was born on February 3, 1977, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Yankee wanted to become a professional baseball player but in an incident, he got shot in the leg and the bullet was never removed this led to him pursuing a career in music. he performed a show with “So’ Persigueme, No Te Detengas” song in 1994 which proved to be a very hit. In 1995 he released his first studio album No Mercy, which gave him fame and fortune within a short period of time. 

 Yankee’s career got a boost when he performed with rapper  Nas, in 1997. Yankee and Nicky Jam together formed the unofficial duo “Los Cangris” and released several hit albums and songs. He debuted in acting with the movie called Vampiros in 2004. He featured in a Television show  The Bold and Beautiful in 2010 and got appreciation for his performance. In addition to this, he has gained a huge fan following over different social media platforms.
