One Tree Hill fans – this is the moment we’ve been waiting for!

Nine years after the finale of the hit WB/CW series, Peyton Sawyer, Brooke Davis and Haley James Scott are joining forces again as Hilarie Burton-Morgan, Sophia Bush and Bethany Joy Lenz premiere their new podcast Drama Queens.

Presented by iHeartRadio, Drama Queens will transport fans back to Tree Hill as Burton-Morgan, Bush and Lenz relive the series and dish on every moment and every scene. So if you’re obsessed with the show and have your number 23 jersey or Keith Scott Body Shop hoodie ready, then you are their perfect audience member.

As new and old fans began binging the show over the last year and a half, the stars took notice.

“Quarantine hit and I was doom scrolling like everyone else. And the number of people who were posting about how in this really scary time at the start of the pandemic, they were starting One Tree Hill over again, really kind of hit me,” Bush told People. “I was like, this show has something magic about it. It feels really evergreen to so many people.”

All three actresses were entering adulthood when the show premiered in 2003. Bush and Burton-Morgan were both 21 and Lenz was 22. While Burton-Morgan exited the show after season six in 2009 at the age of 26, Bush and Lenz were two of only three cast members (the third being Nathan Scott himself, James Lafferty) who were main cast members for all nine seasons. At that time, Bush was 29 at the time and Lenz had just celebrated her 31st birthday.

“We’re moving forward with where we are now, and looking back and reliving the memories,” Lenz said in the People interview. “There’s going to be a lot of candid talk about what we experienced, but we’re not trying to be like Jerry Springer and trash everything. We loved our show. We love what we’re doing now.”

All three have continued to act since the end of the show. Burton-Morgan has appeared in a number of television films as well as a recurring roles on Grey’s Anatomy in 2013 and Lethal Weapon in 2016 and 2017. Bush has swapped between film and television, starring in Marshall in 2017 and Incredibles 2 in 2018 as well a main role on Chicago P.D. from 2014-2017 and a current recurring role on Love, Victor. Lenz had a recurring role on American Gothic in 2016 and a lead role on Pearson in 2019.

While you could only previously imagine what the three would think of watching the pilot of One Tree Hill again, they are here to tell you.

“I have no sense memory of filming [the pilot], but I cried after we watched it because I was like, ‘Oh my God, that little girl wants to be an actress so bad,'” says Burton-Morgan told People. “And so I think us getting to spend some time with our younger selves in this tangible way, it’s cool. It’s not an experience that I thought I would get to have.”

We are so excited to get this experience too!

Premiering this Sunday at midnight ET and 9 p.m. PT, Drama Queens can be found on Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio and Spotify.
