Idaho Food Bank hands out food boxes to Caldwell families in need

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Cupboards across the Treasure Valley have more in them thanks to the hard work of several local organizations.

Several cars lined up in Caldwell Thursday and received a number of food boxes, depending on the number of people in their homes.

Team Rubicon, the Idaho Food Bank and the City of Caldwell worked together to make it possible.

"Each food box contains fresh produce, meat and dairy, " said Chelsea Wilson, City of Caldwell.

The USDA coronavirus relief package helped provide some of the food.
