Idaho Humane Society making it easy to get cats, dogs during adoption event

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Idaho Humane Society is hosting an adoption event on Thursday and Friday through Sunday to make it easier for people to adopt cats and dogs.

On Thursday, cats can be adopted for FREE at the Bird Street Adoption Campus.

Friday through Sunday, dogs are HEAVILY discounted for just $50. The dogs are also available at the Bird Street Adoption Campus.

The campus is at 1300 S Bird Street in Boise. It is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Since June 1, the IHS has adopted out 764 pets. But, it is still seeing a number of animals coming through the doors daily needing new homes. This week is a great opportunity to help the shelter and find your next furry little friend.
