Kyle Larson hilariously blames all pasta, wine, and tequila in Italy as his heart rate hit new

The NASCAR garage is enjoying a much-required extended break, because the Paris Olympics, to recharge before the final stages of the season. While most drivers use this time to rest and spend more time with family, for 2021 Cup champion Kyle Larson there is no rest, as he got a tight schedule because of his non-NASCAR responsibility.

Kyle Larson returned to racing last week after a trip to Italy with his family with appearance in the World of Outlaws Ironman 55, which he hasn’t won since 2020. He pulled off an impressive race that saw him charging to the front from P21 and finally pass leader James McFadden on the very last corner of the race to score the win.

Following the impressive race win, that impressed many including Kenny Wallace, Larson shared data from his heart rate monitor and revealed that he hit the new maximum with 198 bpm. In the caption he joked that the rise is heart rate was because of the all the pasta, wine, and tequila he has had in Italy. He also shared a message for the kids via the caption as he asked them to have a never give attitude just like he didn’t in the race.

Kyle Larson credits his team for the impressive race win

Alongside Kyle Larson, his crew also deserves huge praise for their efforts that helped him to secure an impressive race win at Ironman 55. They gave him a competitive car by working late night after having a poor qualifying race and the hard work paid off.

I can’t say enough about [the team] for working so hard. We’ve been terrible, and really, really bad tonight, too. And they’ve just been working hard, trying to get the car better each time.

The HMS driver would be looking forward to continuing the momentum next-Sunday when NASCAR hit the Richmond Raceway. It would be interesting to see if the veteran racer can keep performing on the same level in the coming weekends.
