Man with red bandana robs Meridian Sonic

MERIDIAN, Idaho (KBOI) — The man who robbed a Meridian Sonic early Tuesday morning is still on the run, but police are hoping surveillance photos will help detectives track him down.

Meridian Police says the suspect entered the restaurant near Linder and McMillan as an employee was closing for the night. He then showed a knife, demanded cash and then took off toward McMillan Road.

The suspect is described as beingin his early to mid-twenties; 5 feet 8 inches tall with a slender build wearing a white hoodie under a black jacket with white stripes, a red bandana over his face and wearing baggy camo pants with black and white shoes. He also was carrying a black backpack.
