WWE CCO Triple H hilariously trolls longtime friend for not twerking alongside SexyyRed

Rapper Sexyy Red has been the talk of the town ever since making her WWE debut on this week’s NXT. It does seem like she had an experience of her lifetime being at the Performance Center, even luring Shawn Michaels to vibe alongside her on the former’s theme song, Sexy Boy. HBK’s WWE co-equal and longtime friend Triple H seems glad that Shawn didn’t start twerking in the process.

Red, who was welcomed by NXT as if she were one of their own, did all the twerking needed on Tuesday night’s broadcast. Her moves were so fascinating that it made Booker T begging for life on commentary. And when it was turn for Michaels to show some moves of his own, he abstained, engendering a pulling of his leg from The Game.

But Sexyy Red‘s not done with WWE. She’s now set to host the NXT Battleground PLE on June 9 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The event, though slated for a minuscule seating haven, just upped the ante. As the fans saw, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace made a jaw-dropping arrival on NXT. She’s pitted against Roxanne Perez, with the latter’s NXT Women’s Championship up for grabs.

Let’s all be glad he didn’t start twerking.

Apparently, there’s one more first-time-ever matchup brewing for NXT Champion Trick Williams as well. He was blindsided by a debuting Ethan Page, a former AEW star, on last night’s NXT taping. Though not official, they might lock horns at Battleground. With the massive additions of Grace and now potentially Page to the premium live event in Sin City, fan interest has seen a sudden uptick.

Triple H recently addressed a major controversy surrounding King of the Ring

At last weekend’s King and Queen of the Ring PLE, Gunther ousted Randy Orton to earn the crown. However, controversy galore over the pinfall sequence, as Orton’s left shoulder was up by a mile when the referee counted him down to death.

Everyone saw how ugly it was. After the show, Chief Content Officer Triple H addressed the contentious call from the WWE official. The King of Kings said that the referee’s decision is final and is still upheld. However, Hunter affirmed that The Viper deserves another shot at the King of the Ring crown.

He lowkey proposed to both men to run it back somewhat soon. However, nothing was made official. On SmackDown this Friday, it would be interesting to see how The Apex Predator reacts to being snubbed out of a major coup.
